Susan Frens is responsible for managing all architectural programming, space planning, and interior design projects at Frens and Frens. She brings to clients extensive experience in the design and planning of corporate office, educational, health care, library, and museum projects.
Prior to joining Frens and Frens, Susan was employed as an interior designer and space planner by the New York architectural firms of Perkins & Will, Ulrich Franzen & Associates, and Haines Lundberg Waehler, and as an interior designer at CNWC Architects, Tucson, Arizona. Download Resume
Michael Falstad is a registered architect and LEED accredited professional with more than fifteen years' experience in architecture, planning, and design.Prior to beginning his university education in history and architecture, Mr. Falstad worked as a restoration carpenter, where he developed skills in detailing and design that provide a solid foundation for his current work. While studying for his professional degree, he worked full time, first for a planning firm specializing in community revitalization and later with John Milner Associates,Inc. (JMA). His approach to architectural design encompasses both historically-sympathetic and sustainable design philosophies. His portfolio includes a diversity of projects including restoration, rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, planning and new design, existing conditions documentation, historic structure reports, preservation master plans, feasibility studies, condition assessments, and architectural design guidelines. Carol Quigley is a graduate architect trained in the classical language of architecture. She is responsible for the design and project management of historic building rehabilitation projects, adaptive reuse projects, and sensitive building additions. She also designs and manages alterations and additions to historic residences.
