The conditions assessment is also a valuable means for a building owner to establish the condition of a building and budget for maintenance and upgrades. Assessments are often limited to the building envelope – roof, walls, and foundations. They can also be comprehensive, including all mechanical and plumbing systems as well as interior structure, finishes, and features.
