Frens and Frens supports heritage preservation in communities through the preparation of historic district design guidelines and through consulting services. Design guidelines, through a combination of illustrations and text, provide specific recommendations to property owners who are considering alterations or additions to their historic structures.  Consulting services are provided both to historical commissions to assist in their review of applications and to property owners  who wish to build in the historic district
