Located in
Lewes, Delaware, the Zwaanendael Museum was modeled after the old town
hall in Hoorn, Netherlands. Retained as the Consulting Restoration
Architect, Frens and Frens, LLC was completely responsible for the
construction documentation, specifications writing and construction
administration for exterior restoration of the 1931 museum building. The
project scope of work included replacement of the custom clay tile roof,
replacement of the copper roof drainage system, masonry restoration, and
replacement of the exterior entrance doors.
